Totally misspoke at 40:30 of part 1. I meant to say it cannot be argued that a mass of individuals who are whole and balanced within themselves wouldn't lead to a holistic, balanced society.

The skull and bird pictured on the side of the cauldron of the Art card represent the transformative aspect of Scorpio (note the skull/skeleton and eagle on the Death card), and the Cross on the rim of the cauldron represents the Saturnian aspect of Capricorn, things like structures, foundations, the cross of the solstices and equinoxes, the black cube of saturn, 90 degree angles, etc. You could say that consciously bringing both the Saturnian structure and materiality of Capricorn and also the transformative, spontaneous and trance-like aspects of Scorpio together in equal portions itself leads to great expressions of Art, corresponding to the path on the middle pillar leading from Yesod (the foundation) to Tipareth (beauty).  The theme of "tempation" is very much tied to this path and also the 9th sphere of the Tree of Life, Yesod. The 9th line of the Lord's Prayer states:

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Evil here only means imbalance. It is tempting, for example, to align oneself exclusively with the influences of Saturn and Capricorn, that is, to be stuck in accumulation consciousness, like that saying "he who dies with the most toys wins." Capricorn and Saturn are very connected to things like assets, possessions, money and fiscal maneuvering. To be "tempted" by this is to be afraid of "death," of transformation and changing one's relationship to their physical environment in the Scorpionic sense of which there should be equal portions in a balanced life following the "middle way." Many people who have won lotteries, for example, report that it unexpectedly lead to great imbalance and in some cases even ruined their lives. This is only due to the fact of there being disproportionate influences in one's life as opposed to equal portions of both Death (transformation) and the Devil (possessions) as shown in the Art card representing balance and the straight and n-arrow path of the middle pillar.

The opposite could also be said of having disproportionate Scorpionic experience without any Capricornian conservatism or structure, which basically falls in the realm of pleasure, instant gratification, escapism and potential hedonisms that have gone completely off the rails and attained a life of their own. Manly P. Hall discusses this problem in particular in this talk. These are just a few ways of looking at this, and these disproportionate influences can even occur simultaneously rather than always being a "one or the other" kind of scenario.

When talking about Trines and trinities using the 3 Water signs of Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces as an example, I keep calling them "the four water signs" .. Little slip of the tongue, it happens. It's basically from talking so much about the four elements, the cross and the cube immediately before going into Trines. I knew what I meant in my head, but it just came out as "four water signs."

Spirit Science - Full - note the "over population" myth that's dished out in the first minute or so of the video. If "over population" is a "problem" then the only solution is population control. There is no other implied meaning behind "over population." This dovetails with Venus Project ideology. The truth is that there are really only too many people for the current system that is in place, not the earth itself. Just take a drive from Main to southern California and honestly tell me "there just isn't enough space." There is plenty of space. Space is only a problem in terms of centralization, regionalism, communism, and the consolidation of power where big wigs are ringing ungodly profits from resources and where people are treated like rats in cages and cattle in fields. Yes, there is an "over population" problem in that backwards, territorial, anti-natural and anti-life system.
